James Donald Liles, Jr.

HUDSON OAKS -- James D. "Jay" Liles Jr., 50, beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle, was called to his eternal resting place on Sunday, August 7, 2016. Memorial service for James "Jay" Liles will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Fellowship United Methodist Church in Trophy Club, 101 Trophy Club Dr., Trophy Club, Texas 76262. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Jay entered this world on February 19, 1966 at Masawa AFB in Japan, son of James and Paula Liles. He met Angela Florence and they were married on June 1, 1991, in Weatherford. They were blessed with two children, Shelbi and James. Jay's hobbies included camping, hiking, fishing, reading and music, especially the guitar. He liked to work with his hands and loved animals. Jay was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Liles, in February of 2010. Survivors: Wife, Angela Liles; daughter, Shelbi D. Liles; son, James D. Liles, III; father, James Liles, Sr. and wife, Patsy; sister, Laurie Leger and husband, Mike; nephews, Carter Scott, Tucker Cargill, and Caydon Cargill; nieces, Rachaul Shimanek, Lannie Cargill, Kaitlyn Florence and Annabelle Florence; and many other family members and friends.
