Leketa Dollar

Leketa L. Dollar went to her heavenly home on May 29, 2016. She was born December 15, 1938 in St. Jo, Texas. She raised her family in Saginaw, Texas before moving to Winkelman, Arizona with her husband of 32 years, Larry Dollar. They returned to Texas and made their home in Springtown, where they lived for more than 20 years. Leketa was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and Mamaw. She was the sweetest friend and had a beautiful heart. Leketa valued the simple things in life…cooking, spending time in her yard, going on adventures with family and friends, and being involved with her church. What she treasured most in her life though, was the time she spent with her family. Holidays were her favorite, a time when everyone was together and laughter filled the air. Her homemade sweets were a staple at every holiday gathering. Leketa lived a long and happy life…always wearing a beautiful smile, and humming her favorite hymns. She spread God’s love everywhere she went. Her work in this life has now been done, and God has called her home to be reunited with loved ones for all of eternity. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Larry Dollar; father, Marvin Hise; mother, Oma Stump; brother, Doyle Hise; and Grandson, Nathan LeMond. She is survived by: Daughter, Melody Rivers; sons, Tony Smith and wife, Pam, Darryl Dollar, and Clint Dollar and wife, Karla; grandchildren, Christi Hibbetts and husband, Ryan, Landon Smith and wife, Neha, Austin Smith, Sterlynn, Chelsea Dollar, Brandi Franquero, Megan Riege, Erik Goodwin, Chelsea Dollar, and Grandi Franquero; great-grandkids, Jack, Brianna, and Cody; and numerous others.
