WEATHERFORD -- David Albert McKeown, 59, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016.
Memorial service: There will be a memorial to celebrate David's life at the family's ranch in Weatherford Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Memorials: In David's honor to protect and save the Pacific Salmon, donations can be made to the World Wildlife Fund, 1250 24th St. N.W., Washington, D.C., 20037.
David was born March 14, 1957 in Pasadena, CA to Albert and Rita McKeown. He grew up in Monrovia, CA, graduating from Monrovia High School in 1975. He joined the Navy and served aboard the John F. Kennedy Air Craft Carrier from 1976-1982. David had many careers through out his life. He was very creative, resourceful, and was one of those people who could fix just about anything. His biggest love was salmon fishing in Neah Bay, Washington. David spent many summers fishing with family and friends. David was always the life of the party with his pranks and jokes. He was a wonderful brother, husband, father, and friend. He is already missed. Peaceful after life, my love....
Survivors: David leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Kathy; sons, Sean, Spencer, and Albert; daughter, Sylvia; brother, Wayne McKeown (Sabine); sister, Valerie Robles (Noe); nephews and nieces, Noe Robles (Melanie), Andrew McKeown, Arletia Ferrel (Nick); Meghan Yount (Tommy), and their families; mother-in-law, Marijo Hudson; sister-in-law, Robin (Dominic) Spaethling; and brother-in-law, Steven (Michelle) Steele, and their families.
