C. H. "Sonny" Ham

WEATHERFORD -- C.H. "Sonny" Ham, 79, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016. Memorial service: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Willow Park, 601 Ranch House Road, Willow Park. Sonny was born March 2, 1937, in Ringgold, son of Hubert Henry and Frances Daisy Dutton Ham. He was a 1955 graduate of Poly High School in Fort Worth and served his country in the United States Air Force. Sonny married Norma Legate and they just celebrated 50 years together. He trained quarter horses, was a master leather craftsman and an excellent chef. Sonny enjoyed summers at Blue Creek Lodge, fishing and riding his four-wheeler in the Colorado mountains. Sonny loved people, storytelling and cooking for his family. He loved God and was a member of First Baptist Church of Willow Park. Survivors: Wife, Norma Ham; daughters, Rhonda Dunn, Rachel Allain, Cindy Reavis and husband, Donnie, and Kristie Branch; grandchildren, Cody, Aaron, Katie, Alexa, Madeline, Miles, Allison, Colby and Caroline; great-grandsons, Peter and Derek; great-granddaughter, Lindzie; brother, Joe Ham and wife, Cindy; sister, Nancy Parten and husband, Dee; his faithful companion, Lucy; and many other family members, church family and friends.
