Loren Patrick Shay

Loren "Lonnie" Patrick Shay, 72, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at his home, with his loving family by his side. Memorial Service: 1 P.M. Saturday, May 14, 2016 in White's Azle Chapel. Lonnie was a Husband, Veteran, Father, Award winning Scale Train Modeler, Horseman, Gardener and Hot Chili Pepper aficionado. Loren met and married the love of his life Dianne in California where they raised two children, Lori and Daniel (Danny). Lonnie honorably served his country during the Vietnam War with the US Army 199th LIB "Redcatchers". Sgt Shay was awarded the Purple Heart, Army Commendation, Good Conduct, National Defense, Vietnam Service, and Republic Of Vietnam Campaign Medals. YOU DID GOOD PA
