Melvin Clifford Warren

Melvin Warren, 76, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 at his home. Service: 1:00 Tuesday at The First Baptist Church of Springtown. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at White's Funeral Home. Melvin was born January 10, 1939 in Bonham to John (Jack) and Opal Ridings Warren. He honorably served in the United States Navy for four years. Melvin retired from GM after 30 years of service. He loved church bible study with his friends. Melvin liked to play horseshoes, traveling and working in his yard. He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughters, Chenice Warren and Rhonda Click. Survivors: Wife, Helen Warren; sons, Chris Warren and wife, Cindy, and Lloyd Warren and wife, Jennifer; brother, Jerry Warren and wife, Barbara; stepsister, Kay Bartula; stepbrother, Pat Calhoun; grandchildren, Jeremy Warren, Dakota Click, Crystal Warren, Dalton Click and Katy Warren; great-grandchildren, Ryatt Click and Nora Warren; and several nieces, great nephews, and many friends.
