Billy Joe Browning

Billy Joe Browning, 78, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Thursday in Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Springtown Funeral Home. Mr. Browning was born Dec. 10, 1936, in Bowie to George and Ruth Browning. He married Ruby Charlene Jordan. He was a longtime owner of Browning & Reaves Signs and Lighting. Mr. Browning was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Jeff Browning. Survivors: Loving wife of 58 years, Charlene; daughter, Patti Dethample and husband, Terry; son, Eric Browning; daughter-in-law, Dawn Browning; grandchildren, Luke Dethample and Amanda Byrd and husband, Billy; and great-grandchildren, Haylee and Jack Byrd.
