William Sloas

William Sloas, 68, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. The family is planning on having a private memorial service. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice. William was born September 1, 1946 in Winfield, Alabama to T.H. and Hazel Henderson Sloas. He married his soul mate, Kathy Hutsell, on March 25, 1983. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. William was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Larry Sloas and Jerry Sloas. Survivors: wife of 33 years, Kathy Sloas; children, Lenore Abrahams, Cindy Stephens and husband, Justin, and William Sloas; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Deborah Morton and Renay Sloas; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
