Sandra Kay Harrison

WEATHERFORD -- Sandra Kay Harrison, 73, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Sunday at Mader-Bagley State Farm, 1916 Martin Dr. (rear entrance), Weatherford. Graveside Service: 9 a.m. Monday in East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Sandra was born October 10, 1941 in Griffithville, Arkansas, daughter of Roy and Avis Davis. She was a loving wife, mom and friend to so many that the lines of who is actually family became blurred a long time ago. Sandra brought four daughters into this world, but was "Mom" to so many others. She took in every "stray" as she called them and gave everything she could to all. Her door was always open and for as long as you needed. Her lasting impression as a loving, caring Mom will keep sweet memories of her alive for all of her "children". Sandra was preceded in death by her mother and father, Roy and Avis Davis; husband of 30 years, John Wayne Harrison; and daughter, Tammy Lyn Gauthier. Survivors: Children, Lisa Foster and husband, James, Sandy Glashan, and Stacy Benson and husband, Greg; grandchildren, Savannah Thigpen, Dustin Foster, Cassie Thigpen, Dani Long and husband, Jordan, Natalie Thigpen, Greg Larance and Sarah Glashan; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Larance and Cody Long; brothers, Sherrill Davis and Wayne Davis; sister, Myra; and many other loving family members and friends.
