Michael L. Wilson

Michael L. Wilson, 59, went to be with our Lord on Friday, July 10, 2015. Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at White's Chapel of Memories. Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086. Memorials: In addition to flowers, please make donations to local animal shelters in Mike's memory. Mike was born March 28, 1956 in Fort Worth to Horace and Mary Wilson. He grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Haltom High School and later moved to Weatherford in 1996. Mike was saved as a teenager at Haltom Road Baptist Church and worked with Blue Bell Creameries and Frito-Lay for many years. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jim Wilson; and nephew, Terry Wilson. Survivors: wife, Donna Wilson; children, Michael L. Wilson, Jr. and wife, Emily, Michelle Golightly and husband, Jeremy, Cameron Wilson and wife, Kathryn, Michael Johnson, and Crystal Richey; grandchildren, Cooper, Colby, Caden, Ava, Allie, Brandon, Kyle, Chloe, Maylea, and Madison; sister, Jan Wallace and husband, Robert; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends who Mike loved very much.
