MANSFIELD -- Dave Thomas, 72, a longtime resident of Mansfield, passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, surrounded by family in a Dallas hospital. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Cycle Dave's Touring Specialties, 2750 North Main St., Mansfield. David Manson Thomas was born July 18, 1940, in Wichita Falls, the only child of the late Elbert and Florine Simpson Thomas. He honorably served in the United States Air Force and was discharged in 1963. Dave made his hobby his career. Motorcycles meant the world to Dave and he was the proud owner of Cycle Dave's Touring Specialties in Mansfield for more than 20 years. Prior to that, he was the owner of T & T Cycles. Dave was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Daughter, Dawn Chaparro and husband, Jerry, of Allen; granddaughter, Alecia "Pickle" Bush of South Carolina; grandsons, Jerry "Bear" Padilla and Adam Elarnaouty, both of Allen; numerous cousins; and a host of loving friends and customers.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, 817-596-4811
