Charles Nelson Leith

Charles "Chuck" Nelson Leith, retired, of Weatherford went to heaven Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Friday in White's Chapel of Memories. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a gift be donated to a child in need or a favorite charity. Chuck was born in Butler, Pa., on Feb. 17, 1939, to William "Bill" and Elizabeth Leith. Chuck was a member of the Weatherford Aero Modeling Club and past member of Abundant Life Church in Grapevine and Bethel Temple in Fort Worth. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patty Heaton, of Florida. Survivors: Wife, Nancy Leith; son, Col. Charles Scott Leith and wife, Lynn, of Lorton, Va.; daughters, Laurie Fenton and husband, Mark, of Cleburne and Kris McLaughlin and husband, George, of Jetersville, Va.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Nancy Bonnett of Butler, Pa., and Sally Beals and husband, Robert, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
