Ima Gene Pike, 92, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Service: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 22 at The First Baptist Church of Briar. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Gene, a longtime resident, of Azle was born November 29, 1920 in Red Springs. She was an officer in the Rebecca Lodge of Azle. Gene was an officer in the Spillway Fire department and past president of The North Tarrant County Firefighters Association. Gene was also a retired Deputy Sheriff of Tarrant County. She was devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Gene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jessie Paul; and a brother. Survivors: Daughters, Nedra Tidwell and husband, Wilburn, Martha Cearley and husband, Bobby all of Azle; son, Jessie Pike of River Oaks; also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many friends and acquaintances.
