David Neil Sneed

KEMPNER -- David Neil Sneed, 63, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Service: 2 p.m. Friday at White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. David was born December 23, 1949 in Plainview to the late Boyd and Lorene Harris Sneed. He graduated from Brownfield High School. David worked for over 26 years in the public water system, and retired as manager of Kempner. He was also a former employee and was an associate member of Texas Rural Water Association (TRWA). David met Michelle Sutherland and they married in Hawaii on August 3, 1997. He loved woodworking, hunting, playing golf, restoring cars and living on the beach in Bolivar. David was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Loving wife of 15 years, Michelle; sons, Scott Sneed and wife, Amanda, of Wichita Falls and Lee Sneed of Alpine; daughter, Rebecca Addison and husband, Danny, of Holiday; step-daughter, Sammye Causey of Midlothian; step-son, Jimmy Williams of Fort Worth; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Dorothy Malone and husband, John D., of Weatherford; brother, Boyd Sneed, Jr.; beloved pets, Rowdy and Kerrie Joe.
