Randall Dewitt Parten

Randall Dewitt Parten passed away comfortably with his family at his home Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at the age of 59. 

Service: 2 p.m. Monday at White's Azle Chapel. 

Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery. 

Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at White's Azle Funeral Home.

 A reception will be held at the Parten home after the funeral.

 Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association in his name. 

Randall was born July 16, 1953, in Fort Worth, to Dewitt Parten and Wanda Patterson. He enjoyed playing guitar, playing with his dog, Roscoe, and fishing and camping with family and friends. 

Survivors: Loving wife of 40 years, Vicki Parten; daughter, Crystal Kennedy and husband, Bill, of Arlington; son, Jason Parten and wife, Jenny, of Benbrook; grandsons, Chris and Jason Kennedy and Christian Sweeton; father and stepmother, Dewitt and Nancy Parten of Granbury; mother and stepfather, Wanda and Butch Patterson of Azle; brothers, Mike Parten of Azle, Russell Parten of Fort Worth, Eric Patterson of Azle; sister, Kim Shelton and husband, Alan, of Azle; stepbrother, Scott Haynes; four nieces; four nephews; and a host of loving friends.
