Main St., Azle, Texas 76020. She was also a supporter of Manatee and Dolphin Rescue efforts. Patricia was born to Frank Willam Maler Jr. and Ellen Theresa Howley Maler on Jan. 29, 1936, in Jamaica, Long Island, N.Y. She worked as a nurse in New York and Florida and was called into ministry in July 1974, when she founded and opened the Universal Light of Christ Church in Brevard County, Fla. Lovingly referred to as "Reverend Pat," she was a true Lightworker and spiritual counselor who devoted her life to bringing God's light and love to others. She was featured in the Florida Today paper, hosted a television show called "Inner Perception" in the 1970s, and touched thousands of people by sharing her mystic gifts through her Teachings of Light spiritual development courses, workshops and personal readings. Her wish for her students was to "pay it forward" and hold the light for others through meditation, prayer and healing of our planet. In 1985 she had a calling to move to Texas and open a second church location to share her message. She believed that God's mission for her was to bring people from the end of an era to the beginning of a new age, the year 2012, and from fear to spiritual freedom. As the year 2012 came to an end, she felt her work on earth was complete. She had always held the light on earth and now will be holding the light in another dimension. Later in life, she returned to one of her first loves of oil painting and created beautiful pieces of art that we will always treasure. She so loved sharing creative time with her wonderful friends at Art on Tuesday mornings. Christmas was Mom's favorite holiday and this year the tree and decorations were put up well before Thanksgiving so we could extend our final holiday together. Mom's love of the ocean and beach were often depicted in her artwork, as well as her decor. It was an honor to share our mother with the world and we are truly blessed to have been a part of her journey. The family extends sincere appreciation to Sarah and the staff of Main Street Hospice in Azle, and Angela, the angel sent to guide us through this life lesson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank W. Maler Jr. and her beloved mother whom she lost at the age of 14, Ellen T. Howley Maler; her brother, Frank W. Maler; sister-in-law, Elaine Maler; and nephews, Carl and Billy Maler. Survivors: Her warm hugs will be sorely missed by her children, all residents of Azle, eldest son, Steven J.
