Frances Powell

Frances Powell, 92, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013. Service: 10:00 A.M. Saturday at White's Azle Chapel, 105 Denver Trail, Azle 76020. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park, 850 N. Cardinal Rd. Azle 76020. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Frances was born April 16, 1920 in Silver Lake, N.J. to Alfred and Jessie Clayton Miller. She married Dr. Leo S. Powell May 3, 1941. Frances was a homemaker and had been a receptionist with the Azle Pastoral Counseling Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo Powell; and sister, Marion Dethloff. Survivors: Son, Arthur Powell; daughters, Susan Grindal and husband, Bill, Diane Golonka and husband, Dan and Linda Burke and husband, Glenn; grandchildren, Mitchell Powell, Julie Smith, Brent Sheldon, Eric Campbell, Scott Golonka, Sean and Evan Burke, Jessie King and Laura Thompson; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of loving friends.
