Charles Lee Sharp aka PawpawBorn Oct 11th 1933 in Ft Worth Texas to Clarence and Mabel Sharp.Preceded in death his parents Clarence and Mabel Sharp, sisters Bobby West ,Betty Shumate, brother George Ray ,daughter Luann ,son David and grandson Rocky.Survived by His loving wife of 53 years Claudia Mae Sharp, his son Steven Lee Sharp and wife Jamie ,son James Barron and wife Teresa, son Charles Lynn and daughter Joyce Williams and husband Ronnie, sister Freda Reed and husband Charles along with numerous nieces and nephews.He was a loving father/grandfather to Five children, 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. During his career as a machinist he worked at Crown Molding company for 14 years in the 1960s to 70s and he retired from Stratoflex in Ft Worth Texas after 21 years of dedicated service.His love of drag racing for many years at Green Valley Raceway and Kennedale speedway from racing with his brother George The Sharp Shooter and his son James the Red Barron's No. 1 and No.2. The Red Barron racing tradition will live on with his grandson David and great grandson JC that's four generations for his love of motor sports that will live on. Oh yes and don't forget wife Claudia winning many power puff race, along with family and friends cheering them on. From racing to motorcycles, camping, and fishing and in his many years of deer hunting with sons, grandsons, family and friends.His passion for Operation Orphans was dear to his heart taking the boys and girls from various orphanages hunting and fishing at Gene Autreys Ranch.
