Sue Culwell

Sue Culwell, 66, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in Bedford. Service: 2 pm Friday at White's Funeral Chapel, Springtown. Interment will follow in the Goshen Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 pm, Thursday, at the the Funeral Home. Sue was born December 19, 1946 in Talihina, OK to the late Emmett and Emily Newkirk Burleson She married Bob Culwell October 18, 1969 and raised two loving daughters. Sue worked for Garrett's Springtown Drug for 35 loyal years. She was a devoted member of the First Methodist Church of Springtown, and also held membership of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Donald, Harvey, and Lonnie Burleson. Survivors: husband, Bob Culwell of Springtown; daughters, Melissa Westberry and husband, Ronnie of Springtown, and Emily Evans and husband, Kevin of Anna; grandchildren, Miles, Parker, and William Westberry, and Kinley Evans; sisters, Mary Cockburn and husband, J.N. (Mutt), Joyce Anderson, Brenda Porter and husband, Larry, and Shirley Burleson; also numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the First United Methodist Church, 109 West Third St., Springtown, 76082.
