Herbert Venson Neely

Herbert Venson Neely, 75, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 in Fort Worth. Graveside Service: 12:00 noon Friday, March 15 at Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 10 to 12 am Friday at White's Funeral Home, Springtown. Herbert was born July 9, 1937 in Springtown to the late John and Bessie Neely. He was a long time resident of Ft. Worth. Herbert was a devoted and loving family man but the grandchildren were the pride of his life. Herbert was a caring individual that loved giving to others. His nieces and nephews adored and treasured him. Herbert was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, LuDean; his parents, four brothers, and three sisters. Survivors: son, Douglas Edward Neely of Ft. Worth; daughters, Debra Jo Shores of Springtown, and Kimberly Ann Keener and husband, Darrell of Ft. Worth; brothers, John Neely and wife, Sybil of Colleyville, Jerry Neely and wife, Phyllis of Sweeney; sister, Wanetta Vess of Springtown; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, friends and acquaintances.
