Claudene Busby, 82, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 in Weatherford with her family by her side. Service: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in White's Chapel of Memories. Interment: Oakland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at White's Funeral Home. Claudene was born in Jacksboro May 21, 1930. "Blondie" was a retired waitress from Monevias and Bonnies. She never knew a stranger and never let anyone go hungry or leave without a coat. She will always be remembered as the most loving mother and the very greatest loving "Mimi" to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is now with Jesus looking down on her beloved family who she thought of first and foremost. Claudene loved and enjoyed her family so much. She also enjoyed bingo with her friends to the fullest. Claudene was preceded in death by her daughter, Pam Garrett; son, Donald Earl; step-son, Charlie Glenn; and brothers-in-law, Carl, Norm and Dennie. Survivors: Husband, Lawrence Glenn of Weatherford; daughters, Sarah Brennand of Weatherford, Pat Collard and husband, Joe, of Garner, Jean Colly of Weatherford and Barbara Reed; son-in-law, Robert Brennand; step-children, Kim Shelton and husband, Chip and Becky Howard and husband, Jerry; brother, Johnny Dater and Jess Dater both of Garner; sisters, Dean of Grand Prairie, Joyce of Longview, Jane and husband, Buzz of Houston and Bernice and husband, Jim of Longview; brothers-in-law, William Glenn and Charles Glenn; 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
