Robert Lee Hagood

Robert Lee Hagood, Jr., 95, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in Fort Worth. Service: 2:00 pm Saturday, March 23 at White's Funeral Chapel in Springtown. Interment will follow in the Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 pm Friday, March 22 at the Funeral Home. Robert was born November 16, 1917 in Springtown to Robert Hagood, Sr. and Eva Wren Hagood. Spending his entire life in Springtown, he graduated from Springtown High and was a lifelong Springtown cattleman. Robert bought and sold cattle in the North Texas area for many years, and owned a few good horses during his ranching career. Survivors: nephew, Bob Haygood and wife, Patricia; siblings, Bill Haygood and Wren Steen; close companion and friend, Jason Mears; nephews; Bob and Jerry Keith, Mike and Roddy Malone, Richard Steen, and Bill Thompson; nieces, Sheila Lee, Barbara Haygood, and Margaret Thompson; and great-niece, Haley Haygood-Click.
