Polly Hounsel, 85, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013 in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford Interment: Annetta Cemetery Visitation: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home Polly was born July 2, 1927 to Bryan and Zadia Phillips Clark in Annetta. She married David Hounsel on September 17, 1944 in Aledo and they began their 68 years of marriage together. Polly was a life long resident of Aledo and Annetta and a member of Couts United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ben Clark. Survivors: Husband, David Hounsel; daughter, Sheila Grubbs and husband, Bill, of Aledo; grandchildren, Corbin Grubbs and wife, Michelle, of Aledo; great-grandchildren, Miles Grubbs and Rylee Grubbs, of Aledo; sisters-in-law, Aileen Prince of Alvarado and Lillie Justice of Fredricksburg, Virginia; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many special friends.
