Alta Faye Teague

Alta Faye Teague, 67, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away Friday, March 30, 2013. Memorial Service: 10:30 A.M. Friday in the Fireside Room at North Side Baptist Church, 910 North Main St. Weatherford. Alta was the second youngest of seven children. She was very active in the community doing charitable work. Alta was a member of the North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Thomas; a brother; two sisters; grandson, Jerry Dean Thomas III. Survivors: sons, Jerry Thomas, Jody Thomas and wife, Dorothy, Jackie Thomas, Justin Thomas and James Thomas; daughter, Jerretta Caffey; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna Gray, Faye Murphy; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of loving family and friends.
