Eufemio Espinoza Valtierra

WEATHERFORD -- On Thursday, April 11, 2013, Eufemio E. Valtierra made the final transition and is now joyously resting, alongside his wife, Josefa, and son, Christopher who preceded and awaited his arrival. Funeral mass: 11 a.m. Monday at St. Stephens Catholic Church, 1802 Bethel Road, Weatherford, 76086. Interment: Memory Gardens of the Valley Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford, with rosary beginning at 7 p.m. Eufemio was born in Santo, Texas on March 20, 1933 to Narciso and Bernabe Valtierra. Raised in Weatherford, he worked at General Dynamics and later started Valtierra Cleaning, a carpet cleaning business still operated by his daughter and her husband. Among several things, Eufemio was a veteran, an avid golfer, a Knights of Columbus member, and enjoyed numerous other activities but he took most pride in being a father and grandfather. Surviving "Da Da" are his daughter, Michel Kinder and her husband, Matt and their daughters Maddi, Brittany Jimenez and husband, Jory, and Christin Schimmelbusch. He will be remembered as a doting and loving grandfather who would do anything for them. Eufemio also will be remembered by sisters, Julia Willingham and Simona Kelican, and brothers, Juan and Diego Valtierra and wife Angela, and German Valtierra and wife, Katherine.
