Dennis Ray Underwood

PELICAN BAY -- Dennis Ray "Denny" Underwood, Jr., 56, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at his home. Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Goshen Cemetery in Parker County. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main St., Springtown. Denny was born December 5, 1956 to Dennis Ray, Sr. and Nancy Brackin Underwood, in Fort Worth. After he graduated from Springtown High School, he worked as a foreman in the construction industry. Denny was an avid sportsman. He loved to fish and hunt as well as play bingo. Denny was a member of the Baptist church. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Ray Underwood, Sr. Survivors: Longtime companion, Julie Maples of Pelican Bay; mother, Nancy Underwood of Fort Worth; sister, Susan Wood and husband Glenn, of Saginaw; son, John Daniel; daughter, Brettany; granddaughter, Torielle; several aunts and uncles; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
