WEATHERFORD -- Lottie Briggs Hatch, 69, our beloved Nana, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 16, 2013. Service: Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. A memorial service will follow at the Latter-Day Saints Wardhouse Church, 2251 Bethel Road, Weatherford. Lottie was born in The Island of Vavau, Kingdom of Tonga, to Alvina Elsie Sanft and Henry Briggs on Nov. 19, 1943, and immigrated to New Zealand in 1947 and then to Salt Lake in 1960. She had resided in Weatherford for 27 years. Lottie worked many years building houses, but loved cooking for the family she adored so much. Everyone loved Lottie because she had a kind, generous and loving spirit. Survivors: Her mother; and her children, April Cooper of Wellsville, Utah, Gordon and Karen Hatch of Bedford, Hollis and Karen Hatch of Fayetteville, Ark., and Kim Hatch of Weatherford. She had eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
