Jack Gordon Hubbard

Mineral Wells -- Jack Gordon Hubbard, 86, beloved husband, brother-in-law and uncle, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at Fairview Baptist Church, 1062 Fairview Road, Mineral Wells, Texas 76067, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment: Willow Pond Cemetery Jack Gordon Hubbard was born March 27, 1927 in Dallas. He met and married the love of his life, Nola Jean Smith on August 20, 1949 and they spent sixty-three wonderful years together. Gordon honorably served his country in the United States Army and then spent many years as a civil servant at Fort Wolters and Fort Bliss. He loved to travel and was a talented wood carver. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, Blanche Cardwell Hubbard and Albert Jack Hubbard; and his brother, James Hubbard.
