Richard D. Whitt, 71, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 at his home with his loving family at his side. Service: 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the Azle Church of Christ, 336 NW Parkway, Azle. Interment: 2:00 P.M. Friday at Sinnett Cemetery, Cleveland Okla. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Memorials: Contributions may be made to the Azle Memorial Library or Azle Church of Christ in Richard's name. Richard was born in Bonham to Loy and Lola Whitt. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Richard and wife, Judy were married September 23, 1966. Richard was a member of the Azle Church of Christ. He retired from Bell Helicopter after 39 years. Richard loved bass fishing and hunting with his friends and classic cars. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers; and one sister. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Judy Whitt of Azle; sons, Richie Whitt and wife, Delisa of Boyd and Rusty Whitt and wife, Amber of Lafayette, LA.; grandchildren, Holly and Mason Whitt; and a host of loving friends.
