Todd B Grimes

Todd B. Grimes, 59, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 at his home with his loving family by his side. Service: 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Ash Creek Baptist Church, 300 Stewart St, Azle. Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Todd was born to Robert Corwin and Garnet Irene Grimes October 17, 1953 in Beardstown, Illinois. He had been "Head of Coal" for Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railway (BNSF) where he had been employed for 40 years. Todd was an avid sports fan. He was a member of Ash Creek Baptist Church. Todd and wife, Linda were married April 11, 1982 in Fort Worth. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael Grimes. Survivors: Wife of 31 years, Linda Grimes of Azle; daughter, Richelle Pruitt of Springtown; grandchildren, Makenna and Jett Pruitt; sisters-in-law, Shirley Fletcher and husband, Dan, Sandra Ault and husband, Norm; brother-in-law, Ronny Howell and wife, Pam; stepfather, Lyle Bell of Beardstown, Ill; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
