WEATHERFORD -- Pauline McLean,90, died Friday, June 7, 2013 in Weatherford. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, TX. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Brunson Cemetery, Eunice, NM. Polly was born on August 8, 1922 to the late P.A. and Olena Hume Wiggins. She married Roy Lenton McLean on December 14, 1946 in Burkburnett, Texas and he preceded her in death in 1996. Polly attended the Collge of the Southwest and Texas Tech University earning a Masters degree in Education. She taught school in Eunice, N.M. and Abilene, TX. Polly was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Weatherford and a member of the Keystone Class. She was also a member of the Parker County Women's and Newcomers Club, as well as numerous local Bridge Clubs. Polly was also an avid world traveler. In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made to the Parker County Seniors Meals on Wheels 1225 Holland Lake Dr. Weatherford, TX 76086. Polly was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a son, Michael McLean. She is survived by daughters,Sherry Magee and husband Burl of Weatherford, Karen Van Wrinkle and husband Craig of Arlinton; son, Craig Mcean and wife Amy of Ft Myers, FL; grandchildren, Erik Larson and wife Natalie of Ft. Worth, Bria Larson of Benbrook, DeEdda McLean of Glenwood Springs, CO, and DeAnn Young of Nashville, TN; great-grandchildren, Emily Hendry and husband Craig of Dallas, and Kevin Freyer of Santa Fe, NM.
