SPRINGTOWN -- John Gregg Mason, 18, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Springtown, 500 N. Main St., Springtown. Interment: Peaster Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main St., Springtown. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org. John was born May 15, 1995, to Thomas and Cathy Mason. He recently graduated from Springtown High School and followed his dream by enlisting in the U.S Army. He was due to ship out on July 22. John loved hunting, fishing and camping. He was a great friend to all and had a beautiful smile thanks to his braces that he hated so much. John had no fear and always lived his life to the fullest. He was a wonderful young man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. John was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Charlton Mason, and his brother, Thomas Jackson Mason.
