SPRINGTOWN -- Williadene "Billie" Coffman Lowe, 88, died Thursday, June 20, 2013. Service: 10 a.m. Monday at Springtown Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Cottondale Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home in Springtown. Billie was born August 30, 1924 to Hugh White and Sally Coffman. She fell in love with a handsome young man, Foy Lowe, and they married May 2, 1941. They remained inseparable for 70-plus years, until Foy died in November 2011. They took care of each other for as long as they both lived on this earth, and their love for each other produced three wonderful children. If you knew Billie Lowe, you loved her, because she loved you unconditionally. She was affectionately known as "Mammaw," not only by her grandchildren, but by all those who delighted in her love for them. Mrs. Lowe loved her church family that extended to many places around the world, but specifically the members of the Church of Christ in Springtown. She served faithfully and unselfishly as an elder's wife at Foy's side for more than 40 years. The Lowe's true love was their family, who celebrate Billie's exhilarating finish in and with God, her reunion with Foy, and their eternity in heaven. We will surely miss our loving mom and "Mammaw," but thankfully, this is only a "see you later" and not a "goodbye." Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh White and Sally Coffman; sister, Ruth Srygley; brother, Shirley Coffman; infant brother; daughter-in-law, Freda Lowe; and great grandson, Ryan Lowe. Survivors: sons, Marshall Lowe and wife, Shirley, of Springtown and Roger Lowe and wife, Ellen, of Watauga; daughter, Lynda Bryant and husband, Bill, of Poolville; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 6 great great-grandchildren.
