MINERAL WELLS -- Gwendolyn Armstrong Keller McCraw Gwen was born January 6, 1934 in Clyde, Texas to GQ and Gladys Armstrong. She passed away, after a hard fight, surrounded by her family and friends, at Mineral Wells Nursing Home on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from complications of open heart surgery on March 6, 2013. Gwen went all the way through school in Mineral Wells graduating in 1953. She was a HOUSE MOUSE, as she put it. She was married to E.R. Keller. She married Bob McCraw in Bowie, Texas in 1984 and resided there until Bob finished (SEMI) her retirement house in Mineral Wells. She is survived by husband, Bob; three children, Vickie Lynn Keller, David Earl Keller, and Lori Kay Keller; step-children, Charles McCraw , and Amy White; sister-in-law, Ruth Armstrong; the prides of her life, her grandson, Jeremy Ragle and wife, Mandy; great-grandchildren, Sonora, Lilly and Bradon. She also loved very much her daughter-in-law, Vickie June Ragle and husband, Marshall. Gwen loved, and is loved by, all of her school mates, and is sorry she missed her reunion! She loved Suni (her Boston) and Angel (her one eyed Pug) and missed them bunches. The family would like to thank the people from Mineral Wells Nursing and Rehab! This is a nice, clean and friendly place. All of the people were great, they Care! We would also like to thank American Hospice and would request that memorials be sent to them. It is Gwen's request that there be no service or visitation. There will be a celebration of her life at a time to be set. She was preceded in death by her mother; father; sister, Willie Ottwell and husband, Ed; and a brother, Alan Armstrong. She is walking and dancing again this day!
