James Edwards Wilkerson

James Edward Wilkerson (43) a beautiful light went out in Springtown, Texas on July 10th, 2013. Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013 at White's Funeral Chapel, Springtown. James was born May 25, 1970 in Porterville, California to Clarence James Wilkerson and Viola Bohannon - both deceased. James was employed as a carpenter most of his life but was known by most to be a jack of all trades as there was little that he couldn't build or fix. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, camping, and an occasional game of disc golf. James was a strong but gentle man and loved providing for his family. His reputation was one as the greatest friends one could ever have. He was always giving words of wisdom and helping others out during a time of need. He was a very compassionate, respectful, and loyal man. He was survived by son, Anthony Sinsel; sister, Shelly Timms; brother, Jason Wilkerson; nieces Viola Timms, Savannah Timms, and great niece Kali Lynn Massie; nephews Dakota Wilkerson and Devin Wilkerson; Ex-wife Lisa Sinsel; girlfriend Kerry Jill Virgil; Kerry's children Ben Smith, Zachary Smith, and Mary Smith; and a multitude of friends. His time with us was brief, our lives will never be the same, but we will always have our memories and he will live on in our hearts forever.
