Harold Dean Born

WILLOW PARK -- Harold Born, 72, a loving husband, father and grandpa, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Saturday in Annetta Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Harold Dean Born was born Oct. 8, 1940, in Enid, Okla., son of the late Emery and Marie Beck Born. A longtime resident of Willow Park, Harold graduated with the class of 1959 from Enid High School and married the former Carolyn Sue Haley, of Drummond, Okla., on Aug. 29, 1964. He made his career with Daniel Radiator and then retired from the City of Fort Worth as Maintenance Supervisor at Spinks Airport. Harold served with honor in the United States Navy and was a member of Aledo United Methodist Church. Harold loved to put a smile on the faces of those he met. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Roy Born. Survivors: Wife, Carolyn Born; son, Terry Ray Born; daughter, Traci Born, all of Willow Park; grandchildren, Lacie and Kacie Born, Britni Pantoja, and Miranda and Gerardo "JD" Diaz; great-granddaughter, Jordyn Griffin; sister, Myrna Kay Eck and husband, Richard, of Enid, Okla.; and a host of loving family and friends.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, 817-596-4811
