SPRINGTOWN -- Sherry Green, 64, passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, in The Woodlands. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of White's Funeral Home, 401 N. Main St., Springtown. Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Sherry Linda Green was born Jan. 21, 1949, in Fort Worth, daughter of the late George and Irene Covington Young. Sherry made her career as a registered nurse for more than 35 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Springtown. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors: Daughter, Laura Green-Chaffin of The Woodlands; son, Daniel Green and wife, Melissa, of Austin; grandsons, Seth Green of Austin and Hunter Chaffin of The Woodlands; brothers, Larry Young and wife, Jolene, of Keller and Ron Young of Fort Worth; niece, Michelle Young; and a host of loving friends.White's Funeral HomeSpringtown, 817-220-7111
