Don Yates

Don Yates, 86, loving husband and father, passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, in Weatherford. Funeral Service: 10:30 am Friday, Aug. 9, at Victory Baptist Church. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford. Interment: Annetta Cemetery. Don was born June 12, 1927, in Big Spring, to Arthur and Nettie Yates. He spent most of his life in Big Spring before moving to Weatherford 13 years ago. Don was an active member of the Victory Baptist Church. Survivors: Wife, Janice Yates; daughter, Donna Kay; a step-son; a step-daughter; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
