Gary Flippin

WEATHERFORD -- Gary "Flip" Flippin, 66, passed away Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Jaybird Cemetery, 158 Union St., Springtown, 76082. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Gary was born February 3, 1947 in Hutchison, Kansas to Raymond and Opal Flippin. He was a proud member of the VFW #4746 located in Weatherford. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Flippin. Survivors: loving wife of 30 years, Eloise Flippin; children, Gary Leon Elliot, Jr. and Teresa Michelle Roberts; 11 grandchildren; mother, Opal Flippin; brother, Jimmy Flippin; sister, Patsy Holbrook; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
