Delora Helen Finley

Delora Finley, 79, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away September 8, 2013 in Springtown. Service: 10 am, Wednesday, September 11 at White's Funeral Chapel, Springtown. Interment to follow at Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Delora was born May 1, 1934 in Springtown to Arlie and Allie Wynn. On November 3, 1951 she married the love of her life, Wendell Finley and they made their home and raised their family in Springtown. Delora was a devoted member to the Tri-County Church of Christ of Springtown and a loyal employee of Montgomery Ward and Burlington Coat Factory. Delora loved playing baseball. She always wanted to go to Colorado. However, she didn't like heights and would hide in the floor of the pickup. But sure enough she would beg to go to Colorado again. She was the best mother and grandmother anyone could ever ask for. Delora was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jerry Wayne Finley. Survivors: husband, Wendell Finley; daughters, Helen Harris and Linda Shewmake; grandchildren, Terrill Gilliland, Michael Williams, Bryan Wilson, and Angel Wilson; and seven great-grandchildren.
