David Paul Hughes

David Paul Hughes, 53, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013, at his home in Springtown. Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday in White's Funeral Chapel, 401 N. Main St., Springtown. Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. David was born May 2, 1960, in Fort Worth, son of Clifton and Rheta McAlpine Hughes. He was a 1978 graduate of Springtown High School and the owner-operator of Triple D Water Heater Service. He married Sharon Garlock on July 29, 1989 in Ft. Worth. David was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Hughes and father-in-law, Jack Garlock, Sr. Survivors: Loving wife, Sharon Hughes of Springtown; daughters, Stacy and husband, Brad Evans, of Fort Worth and Ashley Hughes of Springtown; granddaughter, Tavyn Mayes of Fort Worth; mother, Rheta Hughes of Springtown; brother, Doug Hughes and wife, Laura, of Springtown and their daughter Halle Hughes; mother-in-law, Mary Garlock of Fort Worth; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of loving friends.
