Dorothy Fern Hobbs, 79, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in Springtown.Funeral Service: 11 am Thursday, September 26, 2013 at White's Funeral Chapel in Springtown. Interment: Jaybird Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the Funeral Home.Dorothy was born July 18, 1934 in Wichita Falls to Clifford and Lillian Hopkins . Dorothy retired from Justin Boots and Tarrant County Junior College.Dorothy was preceded in death by: Her parents; and brothers, Alvis and Morris Hopkins.Survivors: Husband, Herman Hobbs; son, Rodney Gilley and wife Leslie; daughter, Marsha Worley and husband, Harold; grandchildren, Todd, Toby, Buffie, Jason, and Aaron; nine and half great-grandchildren; brothers, Calvin and Clifford Hopkins; and sister, Beverly Barron.Memorials may be made to The Alzheimer"s Association, 2630 W.
