WEATHERFORD -- Duane O'Shay, 76, passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at his home in Weatherford. Memorial service: Will be celebrated in Southwest City, Mo. at a later date. Duane O'Shay was born Feb. 13, 1937, in Noel, Mo., son of the late Floyd Anderson and Coral Velma Taylor O'Shay. He graduated with the class of 1954 from Southwest City High School and the class of 1958 from Missouri State University. Duane married Billie Jo Woods O'Shay on Sept. 1, 1957 and they began their life together and reared two daughters. He served with distinction in the United States Air Force and was given an honorable discharge and made his career as a computer programmer. Duane retired from NEC America after many years of faithful service. He attended Grace Community Fellowship. Duane was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jo O'Shay, in 2003; a granddaughter, Emma Martin; and his parents. Survivors: Daughters, Linda O'Shay Mikeal of Weatherford and Donna Martin and husband, Joel, of Peralta, N.M.; grandchildren, Mason Mikeal and Ryan Mikeal of Denver, Colo., Kaite Gorman and husband, Ryan, of Las Cruces, N.M., and Sarah Martin and Rachel Martin of Peralta, N.M.; brother, Gary O'Shay and wife, Virginia, of Blue Springs, Mo.; sisters-in-law, Dixie Graham and husband, John, of Southwest City, Mo. and Sandy Hopkins and husband, Lanny, of Joplin, Mo.; and a host of loving friends.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, 817-596-4811
