Lauden Clarence Gonce

PERRIN -- Lauden Clarence Gonce, 81, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, in Mineral Wells. Funeral: 3 p.m. Saturday at Perrin Church of Christ. Interment: Perrin Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, the Gonce family suggests contributions in Lauden's memory to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73123-1718. Lauden Clarence Gonce was born Sept. 27, 1932, in Perrin, son of the late Clarence and Eutie Elizabeth Mitchell Gonce. He loved to ride his bicycle and was well known throughout the community for leading the homecoming parade. Lauden helped out at Pirate's Cove and had a very special relationship with the people there. Lauden was preceded in death by his father in 1971; and his mother in 1985.
