George Wayne Jackson

MILLSAP -- George Wayne Jackson, 69, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013. Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery, Millsap. George was born March 15, 1944 to John Clinton and Mary Susie Miller Jackson in Sherman. He graduated from Trimble Technical High School where he studied mechanical repairs. George proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy for six years during the Vietnam War. He met and married Grace Annette Newton on August 31, 1963 and they spent many happy years together raising their family on their farm in Millsap. George worked at Lockheed Martin, retiring after 30 years of faithful service. His hobbies included farming, woodworking and welding. George was preceded in death by his parents.
