MINERAL WELLS -- Mary Frances Vila passed away peacefully at her home in Mineral Wells on Tuesday, October 29. 2013. Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 108 NW 4th Ave, Mineral Wells, 76067. Interment: Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. with Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. held at White's Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Food Bank. Frances was born on June 6, 1925 to Silverio "Fred" and Romana Estrada. She retired from MWISD as a cook's helper from Lamar Elementary. Frances' precious moments were spending time with all her family. She loved cooking, dancing. music, skating and lots of love and laughter. The Vila family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, food and drinks. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Vila II; sons, Rudy and Eugene Vila; sisters, Ruth Perez, Lucille Ortiz and Helen Valley; grandchildren, Michael Benavides, Matthew Hamblin, Lisa Rae Pollone, Juanita Botella and Jayden Vila; and her beloved puppies, Precious and Wennie.
