MINERAL WELLS -- Loree Foster, 85, passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, surrounded by family in Mineral Wells. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of White's Funeral Home, 101 NE 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Interment: Eastland City Cemetery. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Loree Foster was born Jan. 16, 1928, in Eastland, the third of fourteen children to the late John Roy and Thelma Mae Dabbs Harbin. She married Herman Foster, who preceded her in death, and together they reared three children. After her family was grown and had moved away from the home, Loree attended nursing school in her 50s. She received her LVN degree and worked in Mineral Wells and Graham. She was a great seamstress and an even better pie maker. Loree was a great encourager and helper to the residents of Mineral Wells Nursing Home and over the years, she was a member of various Baptist churches. Loree was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Foster in 1998; a daughter, Lisa Ann Foster in 1976; her parents; and seven siblings. Survivors: Daughter, Pamela Jean Stinson and husband, Harold, of Graham; son, Michael Dale Foster of Flint; grandchildren, Michelle Hudson, Wendy Kostopoulos, Billy Dale Mauldin, and Timothy Stinson; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Tyler Kostopoulos, Katelyn Mauldin, Joshua Kostopoulos, Carson Mauldin, and Olivia and Jacob Hudson; siblings, Wallace Harbin, Charlene Kimble, Patsy Herrington, Shirley Evans, and Glynn Harbin; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
