ALEDO -- Patricia Weckel, 60, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014, surrounded by family at her home in Aledo. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church, 200 S. Lakeshore Drive, Hudson Oaks. Dr. John Thielepape will officiate. Interment: Annetta Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Patricia Ione Hall Weckel was born March 11, 1953, in Santa Fe, N.M., to O.R. and Edna Ione Hall. Trisha, as she was known by most folks, grew up in Roswell, N.M. In her senior year in high school, the Hall family moved to Ogden, Utah, where she graduated from Ogden High. Upon graduation, Trisha attended SMU, Weber State University, and Utah State University before marrying Billy Weckel on Dec. 30, 1972. Trisha was a kind and loving Christian, an outstanding wife and a model mother and grandmother. She loved her nieces and nephews. She was a caring, loving member of Clear Fork Baptist Church. As a model pastor's wife she was a friend to all, a person whose model taught many how to live the Christian life. Known as a person with an extraordinary prayer life, Trisha possessed and actively practiced a strong and courageous faith in God through Jesus Christ. Trisha was preceded in death by her parents, O.R. and Ione Hall; a sister, Betty Fry; and a brother, Larry Hall. Survivors: Husband of 41 years, Dr. Billy Weckel; their four children, Geoffrey Weckel and his wife, Meredith, Bryan Weckel and his wife, Leanne, Beth Robinson and her husband, Daniel, and Tabitha McCulley and her husband, Carmon; 11 grandchildren; sister, MaryAnn Miller and her husband, Ken; brother, George Hall and his wife, Mary; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving church family and friends.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, 817-596-4811
