WEATHERFORD -- Ouilda T. Wells, 99, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014, surrounded by family in Weatherford. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Friday in Memory Gardens of the Valley, 5600 Mineral Wells Highway, Weatherford. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Ouilda Wells was born Feb. 2, 1915. She was a beautiful lady and a friend to everybody. Ouilda passed the time working jigsaw and word puzzles and made her career with Avon. She sold their cosmetics for about 50 years and retired when she was 85. Ouilda graduated with the class of 1933 from Arlington High School. She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene. Ouilda and Omes Harold Wells were married for 50 years prior to his passing in 1988. Ouilda was preceded in death by her husband, Omes Wells; her parents; and brothers. Survivors: Sons, John Wells and wife, Juretta, of Weatherford, Wayne Wells of Benbrook, Danny Wells and wife, Nellie, of Savannah, Tenn., and Richard Wells and wife, Earlean, of Weatherford; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; foster son, Mark Garner and wife, Karen, of Colorado; brother, Bob Brown and wife, Leonora, of Lima, Peru; cousin, Margaret Allen of Denton; and a host of loving friends.White's Funeral HomeWeatherford, 817-596-4811
