Charlie Glenn Bourne

Charlie Glenn Bourne, 81, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, went to be with his wife in heaven Tuesday, April 8, 2014.Service: 11:00 A.M. Friday at Walnut Creek Baptist Church. Interment: New Hope Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.m. Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail, Azle.Charlie was born in Durant, Oklahoma to William and Maggie Bourne on November 19, 1932. He married his late wife, Arita in 1951 and they made a life together in Boyd for over 60 years. His wife went to Heaven in 2011. Charlie has missed her and now he is celebrating in heaven with her. He retired from Bell Helicopter in 1994 and has been working on the farm and enjoying life since then. Charlie has been a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Arita. Charlie will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.Survivors: Children, Steve Bourne and wife, Debra, Karen Hale and husband, Buddy; grandchildren, Christina, Cynthia, Dusty, Greg Kevin, and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Alyssa, Arianna, Makaylia, Levi and Haylee.
